In week 7 of the NFL a couple teams improved their record to 7-0 while other teams added another loss. The Kansas Chiefs have been yet to be defeated this season so far. Week 6 scores and week 7 games

In week 6 going into week 7 there were and are very many good games. Some teams made their record 6-0 while certain teams are 0-6. In week 6 the New York Giants faced the Chicago Bears. The bears took the win and improved their record to 4-2 while the Giants lost another game to make their record 0-6. The score of the game was 21 to 27. Eli Manning went 14 for 26 with 239 yards and 1 touchdown. Jay Culter threw 24 for 36 with 262 yards and 2 touchdowns. Rueben Randall was Manning’s big receiver this week. Randall had 3 receptions with 75 yards and 1 touchdown. Brandon Marshall had 9 receptions with 87 yards and 2 touchdowns. Another good game in week 6 was the Saints and Patriots game. The Patriots took the win with a score of 30-27. Tom Brady went 25 for 43 with 269 yards and 1 touchdown. Drew Brees went 17 for 36 with 236 yards and 2 touchdowns. Kenny Stills and Aaron Dobson were both major receivers. Both receivers had over 60 yards. Stills only had 3 receptions while Dobson had 6. One of the many great games in week 7 is Cincinnati Bengals and Detroit Lions. Both teams being 4-2 it makes this game pretty evenly match. The Philadelphia Eagles play the Dallas Cowboys this week. Both of those teams playing are 3-3. This week the Buccaneers play the Falcons. Even though the Falcons have only had won 1 game this season I think the Falcons will take this game. In week 7 the Buffalo Bills play the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are 3-2 this season so far while the Bills are 2-4. I believe the Dolphins will beat the Bills this week. One more good game this week is the Rams and Panthers game.

Week 6 injuries and suspensions

In week 5 going into week 6 there have been a lot of injuries and suspensions. There has also been players that have been cleared to play in week 6. Minnesota Viking’s quarterback Jason Ponder has been cleared to play in week 6 against the Carolina Panthers. Ponder fractured his rib about 2 weeks ago and is ready to go but Matt Cassel is likely to start this week against the Panthers. The New England Patriots' Rob Gronkowski is still on a day to day bases with his ongoing injury. Rob is hoping to make his season debut against the New Orleans Saints in week 6. As for the Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson was good to practice Thursday. Johnson suffered a knee injury and was not able to play the Packers last Sunday. San Francisco 49ers Aldon Smith was charged with three felonies due to illegal possession of guns. Texans Quarterback Matt Schaub received a visit from a so called “fan” at his home. The man took photos of his family and screamed at about how he has been playing so far in the season. Even though Schaub hasn’t been doing his best, Gary Kubiak (head coach) states that Schaub will still be the Texans starter. The Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall was fined for wearing lime green cleats in his game against the Giants. He wore the cleats to support Mental Health Awareness Week. Marshall and his wife run a foundation that focuses on mental health awareness and education. Marshall knew he was going to be fined so he said he would match whatever the fine was and donate the money to charity and auction off the cleats. Marshall was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder in 2010. He will not be prohibited to play their next game in week 6.

Week 6 in the NFL

In week 6 of the NFL there will be many great games as there were in week 5. In week 5 there were many close games as well as not so close games. In my opinion I believe there were a couple great games including the Jets and the Falcons game and also the Denver and Dallas game. The other great games were the Ravens and the Dolphins, and the Seahawks and the Colts. Russell Wilson threw 210 yards and went 15 for 31 while Andrew Luck went 16 for 29 with 229 yards. Both QB’s had 2 touchdowns. In week 5 Peyton Manning threw 414 yards which and went 33 for 42 while Tony Romo had 506 yards and went 25 for 36. Peyton had 4 touchdowns and Romo had 5. As for the Falcons and Jets both quarterbacks did great as well. Matt Ryan threw 319 yards and went 36 for 45 and Geno Smith had 199 yards and went 16 for 20. Geno had 3 touchdowns while Matt Ryan had 2 on the day. Joe Flacco and Ryan Tannehill did not do as great but the still did just fine. Flacco had 269 yards and went 19 for 32. Tannehill went 21 for 40 with 307 yards and 1 touchdown while Flacco did not have any. In week 6 there are many good games. The best game in my opinion is the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals. Both teams are 3-2 on the season so far. The worst game of the week and even the yaer possibly in my opinion will be the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Denver Broncos. I believe this game will be an absolute blowout. If the game is a blowout that means the Broncos will still be undefeated and the Jaguars will still not have a win.
