NFL News (CC-1)
The New York Jets have not yet officially picked who their starting quarterback this season. If it was up to the players their mind has already been made up. LeSean McCoy says that it would be one of the easiest choices. He states he would have Michael Vick start over Geno Smith. Michael Vick played with LeSean McCoy for 5 years on the Philedolphia Eagles in the past. McCoy had told the press that Vick would be a positive influence on the New York Jets. "I respect what Mike said, but I understand there's a competition," Smith said last week. "It comes down to what we do on the field." More news going around is that the Jacksonville Jaguars had a meeting with offensive tackle Jake Matthews. Jake Matthews went to and played for Texas A&M. If the Jacksonville Jaguars pick up Matthews he will help strengthen their line which could help them win games. He would help because he could help give them more time in the pocket which would give more time for receivers to get open. He could also help make bigger wholes for bigger run games. The offensive lineman is not the biggest of their concern this off season. Reports say those there biggest concern pass-rushers, a quarterback and receivers. The Eagles have finally talked about the release of DeSean Jackson. On Monday the Eagles say it was purely a football decision. They also said that the Eagles were going in a different direction at the wide receiver position. Chip Kelly had said that Jacksons release had nothing to do with anything that was ever written in the newspaper or behavior. Kelly also said that he was great the year he was coaching him. The Eagles and Chip Kelly had said that he wishes Jackson luck in the rest of his career.

Buffalo Bills (BB-1)
The Buffalo Bills have had a very important offseason this year. This year’s big issue and problem is finding a new owner. A very big option for a new owner is Donald Trump. Donald Trump would be a great owner in my opinion. He would be a great owner because Trump has money to support the team for equipment and or anything else to help improve the players. Donald Trump would also do his best to keep this team in Buffalo and him and only a few other people wanting to buy the Buffalo Bills will want to do. Not many people who are offering to buy the Bills want to keep them in Buffalo. If the Bills stay in Buffalo money will still be brought in and benefit the team in multiple ways. Another discussion the Buffalo is about the Buffalo Bills cheerleaders. The Bills cheerleaders are called the Buffalo Jills. The rumor around the NFL right now is that the Bills may not have a cheerleading squad this year. The reason for this is because the league says they are dressing inappropriate and not wearing enough clothing. I disagree and agree with this statement. I agree because there are little kids watching the football games and I understand that parents don't want their little children looking at that but I also think that unless they are staring at the cheerleaders it isn't a big deal. I do believe there should be regulations for their uniforms because there are little kids watching the game but I do not believe this is that big of a deal that they will not let them cheer this season. Now I do not know if this will happen for sure but there are rumors going around saying that it might happen this season.
NFL News (BB-2)
Big news for the NFL is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are thinking of picking up Johnny Manziel. Johnny Manziel is one of the few quarterbacks predicted to go really early in the draft this season. Another quarterback predicted to go early is Teddy Bridgewater and A.J. McCarron. Players that are predicted to go very early this year in the draft is Jadaveon Clowney and Kahlil Mack. Jadaveon Clowney is predicted to go number one in the NFL. Another really big thing going on in the league right now is the New York Jets have recently picked up former Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson. Chris Johnson will make a great asset to any team he will ever be on due to his great speed and agility. Johnson also is a very tough running back who can not only out run a defensive player but he could also break a couple tackles if he has to. I believe that he will do decent on the Jets but I do think their offensive line will hurt him too. I believe it will hurt him because the Jets do not have a very strong offensive line that will make either a big enough hole or not enough time to get to it. I do not believe Johnson will have many passes thrown to him other than a couple screen passes here and there or maybe a couple short routes but I don't believe he will have any big passes. I do believe he will help the Jets this season and maybe even help improve their record from last year. He will help because their run game in my opinion will be better if the line give Johnson big enough holes. I wish all of the teams in the NFL good luck in this upcoming draft and season.

(AA-1) NFL News
Lately many big things are happening the NFL. One of those major things is the Cleveland Browns matched the five year deal that Alex Mack had signed earlier in the week with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Friday. The Browns were given five days to match the offer but it only took the team a couple of hours. The deal was a five year deal worth 42 million with 26 million dollars guaranteed. Mack would be receiving the highest guarantee of any other free agent this season. Another big story is the André Roberts situation. This situation is about Roberts not knowing what his NFL career has in store for him. He wonders this because after the Washington Redskins had signed him they also signed Desean Jackson which leaves Roberts thinking how much playing time he will be receiving in the upcoming seasons. Roberts had thought that he would be the number 2 receiver until he found out that the Redskins had signed Jackson. Houston Texans running back Arian Foster will be healthy enough to be able to attend and participate in the OTA's. Foster had missed 8 games last season due to injuries and will be fully healthy and ready to go in the upcoming seasons. Foster had stated to reporters that he does not think of this season of a comeback season, he believes he will treat it like any other season. He also stated that he will not try to prove anything to anyone because he does not believe that he does not have to prove himself to anyone. I believe that Foster will do just fine this year and he will be a big contributor to the Texans season touchdowns. I also believe he will have a good chunk of rushing yard ss as well as some receiving yards as well.

NFL News (Z-2)
Huge news for the NFL is the release of Tennessee Titans former running back Chris Johnson. Johnson has played over six years with the Titans. "As an organization, we want to thank Chris for his contributions to the Titans," general manager Ruston Webster said in a release. ESPN stated that the Titans had tried to trade Johnson in the past but it had not worked out. In Johnson's career he has rushed for about 7,965 yards with a career long of a 94 yard run. He also had acquired 18 fumbles in his NFL career. Coaches and players have stated that Chris Johnson a "playmaker". Reporters have said Johnson averaged a career-worst 3.9 yards a carry and didn't have a run longer than 30 yards in 2013. He was scheduled to make $8 million in 2014. Chris Johnson still has the fastest 40 yard dash. His 40 yard dash time 4.24 seconds which has not been beaten yet. Reporters have also stated that "The lightning-fast Johnson was one of the league's most dynamic and explosive playmakers early in his career. He ran for 2,006 yards in 2009 and is one of only six players to run for at least 1,000 yards in his first six seasons." I believe that Chris Johnson would make a great player to any organization. I believe any team in need of a running back could benefit greatly with picking him up in the upcoming season. He is a very fast, powerful, and just an all-around great athlete. He has played decently in the past seasons but I feel on a new team he could really excel in his career. Any team that picks up Chris Johnson will benefit immensely in the upcoming seasons and in his career. Good luck to Chris Johnson with his team search.

Big trades and signings in the NFL (Z-1)
One big signing that happened in the NFL recently was the Washington Redskins signing Desean Jackson. Jackson is the eagles former Wide Receiver. The Redskins signed Jackson for a three year deal worth 24 million with 16 million dollars guaranteed. Jackson signed this contract on April 2, 2014. Jackson has a career total of 32 touchdowns with a total of 356 receptions. He also recorded a total of 6,117 yards in his NFL career. His career long was a 91 yard reception. Another huge move is the New York Giants signed former Denver Broncos defensive end Robert Ayers on Wednesday, the team announced. The contract is for two years’ worth a total of 4 million dollars with 1.75 million dollars guaranteed. A major trade I believe would impact the NFL greatly would be if the Houston Texans traded Andre Johnson to the San Francisco 49ers for a 2014 second-round pick and 2014 fifth-round pick. The Steelers also made a big move recently. The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey to a one-year deal. This past season Darrius Heyward-Bey had a total of 29 receptions for a total of 309 yards and only a single touchdown. He went from starting the season as the No. 2 receiver to ending the season on special teams. The Raiders are also making big moves by releasing veteran right guard Mike Brisiel after two up-and-down, injury-filled years on Tuesday. The New York Jets are also looking to help their teams odds in the upcoming seasons by signing cornerback Dimitri Patterson. Patterson signed a one-year, $3 million deal, according to league source. ESPN says that Patterson, who turns 31 on June 18, was released last month by the Dolphins to save $5.4 million against the salary cap. Many teams are taking opportunities to make their teams better in the future.
