Wild Card in NFL (O-1)

In the 2013 to 2014 NFL season only 8 teams advanced to the playoffs. Those teams included the New Orleans Saints, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Indianapolis Colts. The San Diego Chargers, the Cincinnati Bengals, The San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers were also included in the wildcard games. Out of those 4 games only 4 teams advance to the playoffs. One team that advanced was the Saints with a final score of 26 to 24 against the Eagles. Drew Brees played a good game throwing 20 for 30 with 250 yards and 1 touchdown. Another game was the Chiefs and Colts. The Colts came up with a big win this week with a tight score of 45 to 44. Andrew Luck really brought it this week throwing 29 for 45 with 443 yards and 4 touchdowns. The final score of the 49ers and Packers game ended the Packers season with a final score of 23 to 20. Colin Kaepernik really played a great game. Kaepernik threw 16 for 30 with a total of 227 yards and a touchdown. The game that did not end as close was the Bengals and the Chargers game. The Bengals just couldn't keep up with the Chargers this week. Phillip Rivers played a good game going 12 for 16 with 128 yards and a single touchdown. Ronnie Brown touched the ball only 8 times and had 77 yards rushing. These teams will now advance to the playoffs only to face teams who led their division in the regular season. All these teams played great this season and with the teams that have ended their season I’m sure they will be working harder for the upcoming season. The teams that have advanced all have the same dream. That dream is making it to the biggest game of the year, The Super Bowl.
