NFL Combine (U-2)
This year in the 2014 NFL draft combine many players performed great. This year’s combine was taken place on February 22 through the 25th. Chris Johnson still holds the record for the fastest 40 yard dash in combine history. This record was set back in 2008 and has not yet been beaten. Chris Johnson ran his 40 yard dash in 4.24 seconds. They were not any players who took Johnsons place for the fastest 40 yard dash this year at the combine. The player who came closest to Johnson's record this year was Dri Archer. Archer ran his 40 yard dash in 4.26. Archer is a running back from Kent State. Dri Archer stands at 5'8 and weighs a total of 173 pounds. Jadeveon Clowney is still predicted to go first in the 2014 NFL draft. A player that is predicted to go early in the Draft is a man who played for Buffalo State. Mack is an outside linebacker. Mack is about 6 feet 2 inches and weighs a total of 245 pounds. Johnny Manziel is predicted to go early in the first round of the draft as well. Manziel is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds. Manziel attended Texas A&M. Teddy Bridgewater is also predicted to go very early in the 2014 NFL draft. Bridgewater attended Louisville. He is about 6 foot 2 and a half inches tall and weighs a total 220 pounds. A.J McCarron is also a quarterback in this year’s draft. McCarron is about 6 feet and 4 inches and weighs a total of 214 pounds. McCarron played for Alabama. Michael Sam is also a player predicted to go high up in the draft.
