(GG-1) NFL news
Yesterday on June 9th the Jacksonville Jaguars took out almost 10,000 seats and replaced them with a two level party deck that includes two pools and 16 cabanas complete with all plush furniture. Espn states that Companies or fans can rent one of the four poolside cabanas on the first level for $12,500 a game, or $250 per person. This package includes 50 tickets, and offers an all-you-can-eat and drink special. There is a very similar package for a cheaper price. This other package includes twenty tickets which includes everything except pool access. These tickets cost somewhere around 3,000 dollars or 150 per person. The senior vice president of sales, Chad Johnson stated that 65 percent of these seats have already been sold for the upcoming 2014 season. He also stated that "We're targeting businesses who want to entertain some of their clients or even their own employees," Johnson said. "What we've built here you can't get anywhere else." This party deck is one of a couple new renovations to the Jaguars Everbank Feild. They will also be putting in the world’s largest HD LED video screen. They are also putting in brand new seats and tables into the club sections of the stadium. All of these new renovations will be costing about a grand total of 63 million dollars. Chad Johnson also had stated that "We wanted to take areas in our stadium that were underperforming and get creative," He also added "It's no secret that we've had tarps on seats, so we wanted to turn that around and build premium areas." Another big story is Johnny Manziel playing two major league sports? Like Russel Wilson, Maziel had been drafted into the MLB. The San Diego Padres selected Johnny Manziel as the 837th player overall in this year’s draft. Manziel was listed as a short stop back at Texas A&M but never played.
